Duke komentuar deklaratat e kreut të Partisë së majtë greke, Syriza, Profesori Shezai Rrokaj i ftuar në studion e News 24, tha se Greqia është i vetmi vend në Ballkan që nuk ka ligj për pakicat.

“Në pamje të parë ishte për përdorim politik dhe natyrisht për të tërhequr elektoratin shqiptar. Nuk mjafton që një shtet të nxjerrë akte për etninë, por kur ai nxjerr një ligj bazë, kultura, gjuha, feja vendosen në një sistem politik shtetëror siç ndodh në Shqipëri. Në 2017, ne miratuam ligjet për pakicat kombëtare që ishte një nga prioritetet e Komisionit Evropian.

Qeveria shqiptare ka ngritur një komitet për mbrojtjen e pakicave dhe Parlamenti grek të bëjë të njëjtën gjë në kuadër të Këshillit të Evropës. As më shumë as më pak përkundër këtyre tymnajave dhe them se kjo duhet të jetë në agjendën e jashtme të qeverisë shqiptare. Problemi i gjuhës është një e drejtë natyrore. Ne i njohim bullgarët, por bullgarët nuk i njohin shqiptarët në Bullgari”, tha ai midis të tjerash.
